My block and connector blocks are done and will be turned in tonight. The theme is a day on the coast. I'm looking forward to seeing all the blocks turned in tonight.
That block reminds me of being at the ocean ... I was curious about your two baby quilts Noah's Ark and Cowboys and Indians. Were they from Ursula Reike's books? I picked up fabric today to make a stroller/car seat quilt for my first grandbaby. Need to plan the style soon! Thanks for sharing.
The block is beacon star from Jinny Beyer from her online block selection. Noah's Ark and Let's Play Cowboys & Indians came out of my head. With Noah's Ark I was inspired by a youtube video about tube piecing. Let's Play Cowboys & Indians was a block setting that I have used before. The print was big and I didn't want to cut it up smaller. In place of blocks I used a square of the large print fabric.
